The Nightline Association (NLA) have announced they will unfortunately be closing at the end of May 2025. The NLA is an umbrella charity that supports each Nightline branch across the UK, and their closure will be affecting all Nightlines to different degrees.Whilst...

Opening Hours

On Wednesdays, Nightline will only be open for IMs and emails, effective from 25/09/24, until further notice. We will still be open for full service (including calls) on the other days. We thank you for your understanding.

Making sure that you take time to relax is very important, especially when our lives can be so hectic. Practicing self-care in whatever way resonates most with you can be a great way of doing this. Whether thats spending time with friends, being creative, or just allowing yourself to take a break from your to do list, it’s essential to set aside time to relax! 🌙✨

As a side note, we will be having some relaxing activities this week (an art event and movie night - see our timetable post), so do drop by!

About us

We are a student-run, confidential, and non-judgmental peer-to-peer support listening service for students here at the University of Bath. We are open from 8pm to 8am every night of term and our trained volunteers are happy to listen to anything you may wish to discuss. Nothing is too difficult or too trivial to be worth mentioning. We won’t judge you or tell you what to do. We will simply listen to whatever is on your mind.

What can I contact Nightline about?

We receive all sorts of calls, from students who have nothing on their mind and just want to chat, to students who are highly distressed and need urgent support. Below are some examples of calls we receive.
